Line of Service Tax Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Domestic Tax Compliance Management Level Manager Job Description & Summary A career within Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients plan and meet their tax objectives while managing the impact tax has on their business and support them with paying the right amount of taxes. You’ll advise clients on their tax affairs and help them navigate the complex and evolving tax landscape. Our team helps our clients improve their tax function to control risk and facilitate better decision making. You’ll focus on helping businesses with tax strategy, ensuring tax compliance, increasing post tax profits to shareholders, and providing application support to achieve the best outcome to our client’s important problems. Responsibilities Tax Compliance - Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax returns, including corporate income tax and other applicable taxes, to the tax authorities. You will also contribute technical insights to business tax compliance engagements. Tax Planning - Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position, minimize tax liabilities, and manage risks. Advisory - Provide expert advice on tax implications for business transactions, mergers, acquisitions, investment structure planning, incentive applications, inbound/outbound investment advisory and new business ventures. Reporting - Prepare and review tax provision calculations for financial statements and ensure proper accounting for all tax-related items. Regulatory Monitoring - Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, and assess the impact on the company’s tax position. Collaboration - Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and business units, to ensure alignment on tax-related matters. Growing as a strategic advisor, you leverage your influence, expertise, and network to deliver quality results. You motivate and coach others, coming together to solve complex problems. As you increase in autonomy, you apply sound judgment, recognizing when to take action and when to escalate. You are expected to solve through complexity, ask thoughtful questions, and clearly communicate how things fit together. Your ability to develop and sustain high performing, diverse, and inclusive teams, and your commitment to excellence, contributes to the success of our Firm. Model and reinforce professional and technical standards (e.g. refer to specific PwC tax and audit guidance), the Firm's code of conduct, and independence requirements. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and/or professional qualification . Strong business technical knowledge with at least 5 years' working experience in tax compliance and consultancy, ideally in a professional services organization. Excellent client handling and team management skills. People management and project management experience. A good level of commercial awareness. Self-motivated and proactive with contribution to business development efforts as part of securing new clients. Possess good spoken and written skills.
