About the Role

We are seeking a Manager, Business Systems & Integration to oversee and evolve the company's core business systems ecosystems. This role sits at the heart of how the organization operates, ensuring that platforms supporting Revenue, Customer Success, Support, Finance, Operations, and Data, function as one integrated, reliable and scalable system.

You will design and maintain a cohesive architecture that improves operational efficiency, strengthens data integrity, and supports sustainable growth. This role combines strategic oversight with practical execution, including reducing manual processes and resolving cross-functional system challenges.

You will also build and lead a small team of systems specialists (3-4 members). This is a leadership role for someone who thinks in systems rather than tools and is comfortable contributing hands-on technical expertise when needed.

What you will do

Own the Business Systems Ecosystem

• Manage and continuously improve core business platforms, including CRM, customer support, billing, finance, analytics and other core business applications.
• Ensure systems are aligned with business processes, operational needs, and strategic objectives.
• Prioritize initiatives based on impact, scalability, and resource constraints.

Lead Systems Integration

• Design, implement, and maintain integrations across platforms using API, middleware, or custom solutions
• Ensure accurate, reliable data flows across the revenue engine, customer lifecycle, operations and finance functions
• Identify opportunities to automate workflows and reduce manual processes.

Build and Lead a Team

• Recruit, develop, and lead a small team of systems specialists
• Provide technical direction while empowering the team to execute effectively
• Establish best practices for documentation, governance, and operational discipline

Partner with the Business

• Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions
• Work closely with senior leaders to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
• Provide informed recommendations on system capabilities, trade-offs, and long term scalability

Requirements:
What We're Looking For

• 5-10 years of experience managing and scaling enterprise business systems in complex environments
• Proven experience building or supporting cloud-based applications and integrated system architectures
• Demonstrated ability to streamline operations by automating manual processes and improving workflows
• Experience building, leading or mentoring small technical teams

Technical Capability

• Strong understanding of system integration principles, APIs, and distributed architectures
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (eg Python or Javascript)
• Solid SQL skills and experience working with structured data
• Good understanding of data modelling and maintaining consistency across platforms
