Job Description
ECAM is looking for talented individuals like you! Be the next Manager, Business Development Unit.
The Manager of the Business Development Unit is a senior operator responsible for building, running, and scaling ECAM's Philippines-based lead generation engine. This person leads two distinct teams — Market Intelligence Analysts and Business Development Representatives — as a single integrated unit with one shared mission: delivering actionable, qualified leads and booked appointments to U.S. sales teams across Field, Strategic, and ECAM Market channels.
This is not a coordination role. This is a production role. The Manager is accountable for weekly lead output, appointment volume, pipeline contribution, and the quality of intelligence delivered to U.S. reps. They operate as the bridge between the Philippines unit and U.S. sales leadership, attending weekly sales reviews and owning the BDU's performance metrics.
Job Highlights:
-Day 1 HMO for you and two (2) of your dependents.
-Annual and Performance Based Salary Increase
-Additional Leave Credits
Duties & Responsibilities:
Team Leadership
Build, train, and manage the Intelligence Analyst and BDR teams as a single integrated unit
Set weekly output targets for both teams and hold them accountable through daily standup and weekly review
Develop individual skills across both functions — research depth, AI tool proficiency, outbound communication, and appointment setting
Hire and onboard new team members as the unit scales
Create a culture of urgency, precision, and ownership that mirrors the U.S. sales team's standards
Strategy and Prioritization
Work directly with U.S. VP of Sales, VP Strategic, and VP Partnerships to understand weekly priorities and target accounts
Translate U.S. sales strategy into weekly research and outreach assignments for the team
Identify the highest-value prospecting opportunities across Field, Strategic, and ECAM Market channels and allocate team resources accordingly
Manage the Market Activation Program prospect lists across all six U.S. regions — ensuring each list is current, enriched, and actively worked
Develop vertical-specific research playbooks for construction, retail, logistics, multifamily, QSR, data centers, and utilities
Reporting and Performance
Attend weekly U.S. sales leadership reviews and present BDU output metrics
Track lead delivery, appointment volume, conversion rates, and rep feedback on lead quality
Report directly to Maciek, with weekly written summary of unit output
Build and maintain dashboards showing BDU contribution to U.S. pipeline by channel and region
Qualifications:
Required
5+ years of experience in B2B sales development, business development, or market intelligence — preferably in a U.S.-facing role from the Philippines
Demonstrated experience managing a team of researchers or BDRs in a high-output, metrics-driven environment
Strong proficiency with AI research tools — comfortable using large language models, AI-powered search, and data enrichment platforms to build prospect intelligence
Excellent written and spoken English — communicates directly with U.S. sales leadership and can represent the team in senior meetings
Familiarity with CRM platforms — Salesforce preferred
Strong understanding of outbound sales motion — knows what a qualified lead looks like and what makes an appointment worth taking
Preferred
Experience supporting U.S. enterprise sales teams in security, technology, construction, or real estate verticals
Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo, or similar prospecting platforms
Experience building research playbooks or outbound campaign frameworks from scratch
Track record of building and scaling a BDR or research function — not just managing an existing one
