Role Overview
The Manager, Merchant & Co brand role is a client facing execution role focused on managing day to day relationships with merchant and co brand partners, supporting account performance, and delivering against defined commercial objectives.
Reporting to the VP Merchant & Co-brand, this role plays a critical part in account planning, performance tracking, and opportunity execution, working closely with internal stakeholders across Product, Services, and Regional Market teams. The Manager is expected to be a self starter, able to independently progress workstreams, manage priorities, and drive outcomes in a fast paced, matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management & Account Support
• Manage day to day relationships with assigned merchant and co brand partners, acting as a reliable point of contact for ongoing engagement.
• Support senior account leads in maintaining strong partner relationships and delivering against agreed account objectives.
• Coordinate internal teams to ensure timely follow up on partner requests and initiatives.
Account Planning & Performance Measurement
• Support the development and execution of account plans, including tracking initiatives, milestones, and commercial outcomes.
• Monitor account performance against revenue, growth, and activity targets, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Prepare regular performance updates, dashboards, and materials for internal reviews and partner discussions.
Commercial Execution & Opportunity Support
• Help identify and progress commercial opportunities across merchant and co brand portfolios, including new programs, expansions, and optimization initiatives.
• Support business cases, pricing inputs, and opportunity tracking in partnership with Finance and senior account owners.
• Contribute to pitches, RFP responses, and partner presentations with clear, data driven inputs.
Cross functional Coordination
• Work closely with Product, Services, Marketing, and Market teams to support delivery of solutions aligned to partner needs.
• Help coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of initiatives across markets and functions.
• Track actions, dependencies, and timelines across active workstreams.
Self Starter Delivery & Continuous Improvement
• Proactively manage tasks and priorities with limited supervision, driving work forward independently.
• Identify process improvements and ways to simplify execution across accounts and initiatives.
• Stay informed on payments, retail, and digital commerce trends to support informed partner discussions.
