As a Manager / Associate Director in our Tax & Business Advisory service line you will enjoy and excel at leading others - supporting them to make an impact that matters while setting the direction to deliver exceptional client service. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients ranging in size and covering a broad range of accounting and tax issues. You will have the opportunity to develop effective business relationships with clients, deliver outstanding advice, and partnering with clients as they grow.

The impact you'll make:
As a Manager/Associate Director in our Tax & Business Advisory team you will provide advice to clients on a range of accounting and tax issues.
Your role will include:
• Building trusted and credible client relationships. 
• Identifying and problem solving business, accounting and tax issues, working alongside clients to help them achieve their strategic and business growth objectives.
• Managing multiple jobs concurrently, ensuring client and internal deadlines are met without compromising on quality. 
• Coaching and managing team members, building careers and technical skills to effectively contribute client deliverables and team success.  
• Being present in the market and creating opportunities to build relationships across a broad range of stakeholders. 
• Being part of the team culture, becoming a role model for our people and clients, as well as recognising others for the impact they make by their valued contributions.
Your expertise:
Bring your passion for supporting local and international businesses to thrive and see what impact you can make. You'll also have:
• Sound accounting and advisory skills developed through 5+ years’ work experience
• CA  / CPA (or similar) qualification 
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to build rapport quickly and build connections across all levels within our teams and clients. 
• Strong problem solving skills with an eye for detail - able to report on findings, draw insights and help develop tangible solutions. 
• Solid understanding of the business, accounting and tax issues facing SMEs in New Zealand.
• Experience in the preparation / review of financial statements
• A drive for excellence and a “can-do” attitude. 
• Proven ability to building strong relationships with clients & colleagues.
• Experience leading successful teams, mentoring junior staff, managing priorities and delivering to deadlines.
