About You

As a member of the Accounting team, you will help build processes to ready the Company and the Accounting team for the Company's continued growth. You will have the opportunity to lead and collaborate with teammates in implementing reporting controls and decision support for AppDirect’s growing business. The ideal candidate is an individual ready to jump in to a fast-paced environment, adept at change, and capable of innovating and building controlled scalable processes.

What you'll do and how you'll have an impact

• Manage and develop staff of at least two direct reports;

• Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting close;

• Develop and maintain financial record keeping and reporting systems;

• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; assisting with investor reporting as applicable;

• Preparing and reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations;

• Maintaining the general ledger system;

• Assist with annual external audit;

• Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial controls and procedures;

• Research accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles;

• Manage and develop staff of at least two direct reports;

• Assist with management of acquisition related integrations as they occur;

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

• Minimum of five years’ experience in accounting and/or finance (CPA preferred);

• Minimum two years' experience in management position or managing direct reports preferred;

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, business administration or related field;

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and interact with all levels and departments in the Company;

• Strong organizational and time management skills;

• Ability to multi-task, to prioritize work, to follow through and meet deadlines;

• Results-oriented, hands-on experience in a fast paced environment;

• Acquisition and/or financial integration experience is a plus

• Big 4 public accounting experience is a plus

• Experience of working with NetSuite or other comprehensive enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
