We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join the Accounting Advisory Services team as a Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting and finance, along with a proven ability to deliver high-quality advisory solutions. This role involves leading client engagements, managing cross-border stakeholder relationships (including US engagement teams), and contributing to the growth and strategic development of the practice.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
Engagement Management
• Lead and manage multiple accounting advisory engagements, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget
• Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for US engagement teams
• Understand client requirements and provide tailored accounting solutions and practical recommendations
• Oversee engagement planning, execution, and quality control processes
Technical Accounting & Advisory
• Provide expert guidance on complex accounting matters including revenue recognition, lease accounting, financial instruments, and business combinations
• Support clients and US engagement teams in implementing new accounting standards
• Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, and other applicable standards
• Conduct technical research and stay updated on evolving regulatory and accounting developments
• Facilitate solutions for complex separation and divestiture scenarios
Team Leadership & Development
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior professionals, promoting continuous learning and skill enhancement
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide structured, constructive feedback
• Encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and an inclusive team culture
• Support hiring, training, and career development initiatives within the practice
Qualifications & Skills
• Strong technical accounting expertise with experience in IFRS, US GAAP, and/or other relevant accounting standards
• Demonstrated experience leading client engagements and managing teams
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems is an advantage
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
