Job Description:

The Management Accountant is responsible for accurate and timely monthly management accounts to cover 2 x UK entities and 3 x Dutch entities. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Management Accountant to join the team in a fast-growing business.

Job Responsibilities:

Preparation of Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly Management Accounts

Monthly EC sales, dispatches, and arrivals declarations

Assist in the production of financial analysis

Prepare and submit VAT returns and other tax-related documents.

Balance sheet reconciliations and Analysis – Ensure the performance and review of balance sheet reconciliations whilst investigating and resolving with sufficient audit trail

Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and liaise with auditors

Support with Credit control duties when required.

Support the Accounts payable function when required.

Implementing and maintaining robust financial Controls

Ad-hoc projects and duties

Who You Are:

Extensive track-record and experience in a management accounts or similar position.

Vat and Tax, reporting and compliance knowledge.

Advanced Excel skills are required.

NetSuite experience will be advantageous.

Must be highly organized and able to be flexible at month end, yearend, budget, month end close timing.

Pro-active with tasks and hands on.

Self-motivated and able to work on his/her own, as well as with an international team.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good interpersonal skills are essential.

Resilient and able to manage and embrace ‘change’ in a constructive manner.
