We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Imaging Assistant to support our radiology team. The ideal candidate will assist with patient preparation and provide general clinical support while maintaining a professional, compassionate, and patient-centered experience.
Position: Mammography Imaging Assistant, Full-time
Location: On-site Arlington Heights
Days/Hours: Monday- Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Key Responsibilities
Greet and guide patients through the mammography process
Assist technologists with patient preparation and workflow
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality, and clinical safety standards
Stock and maintain exam rooms and supplies
Communicate effectively with patients, technologists, and providers
Support infection control and safety protocols
Assist with clerical and administrative duties as needed
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare or medical setting
Strong computer skills and time management abilities
Excellent patient care and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification
