Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, leadership abilities, and experience in facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance tasks on buildings and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

Conduct inspections of facilities to identify issues that require attention.

Oversee and manage maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.

Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting and repairs.

Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic standards.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly and effectively.

Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules without disrupting operations.

Requirements

Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.

Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and clients.

Experience in supervising teams or projects is preferred.

Familiarity with electrical systems and the use of tools such as an ohmmeter.

Skills in residential painting techniques are advantageous.
