We are looking for people who, like us, believe the work we do has a positive impact on their community and that together we can continue supporting our Residents and their families.
Maintenance work keeps our Home safe, comfortable, and running smoothly, ensuring Residents and staff have a clean, functional environment every day. Help support some of the most vulnerable people in your community in this role.

If you were working for us as a Maintenance Worker, here are some of the things you would have done last week:
• Performed general maintenance and upkeep of the building, including plumbing, heating and cooling systems, electrical repairs, plastering, painting, and other assigned tasks
• Prioritized tasks according to the needs of the Home
• Moved resident and non-resident furniture safely within the Home
• Maintained logs and records for work performed, including materials and equipment used
• Ensured tools and equipment were in proper working order
• Assisted with preventative maintenance, utilizing computerized systems to track work and schedules
• Monitored the Home for maintenance and safety issues, taking action or reporting concerns as appropriate
• Adhered to all policies, procedures, and legislative standards, ensuring a safe and compliant environment
• Supported special projects such as carpet cleaning, painting, or backup maintenance tasks
• Responded to emergency call-ins to ensure continuity of a safe environment
• And supported your team as needed.

When you apply, if you have your credentials, we will try our best to reach out to you within the week (hopefully within a few days). When you’re eligible with us for benefits, you can expect a variety of them:
• Flexibility in shift scheduling to support your home life
• When eligible, you can enjoy full range of extended Health benefits
• Pension/RRSP matching
• And many Company Events like our annual recognition parties, team theme parties, lunches, outings, gift cards, and paid days off

We prioritize promoting from within and support our employees' educational needs because we care for the team we have put together. We come to our workplace each day understanding that we are entering our Residents' Home, and we are there to support them. While we don't take ourselves seriously, we take our jobs seriously and love to have fun with each other and the Residents!
