How you’ll make an impact:
Maintain daily upkeep across the lodge: guest rooms, common areas, mechanical systems, grounds, staff housing, et.
Perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, pool or spa maintenance, and HVAC support
Execute preventative maintenance schedules, respond to work orders, and assist with seasonal lodge opening/closing procedures
Provide grounds upkeep: snow removal, landscaping, and periodic yard work
Champion safe work practices and support other departments (guest services, security, events)
Collaborate with maintenance team and report to Maintenance Manager on priorities, safety compliance, and facility improvements
Greet guests to ensure their experience is as exceptional as the surroundings
Support all departments as needed
Qualifications & Experience:
Grade 12 diploma (or equivalent); trade certificate or related experience an asset
Proficient in general building trades—plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting—with ability to learn on the job
Strong problem-solving, self-starter attitude, and excellent communication skills
Ability to multitask, handle physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs), and work flexible shifts (days, evenings, weekends)
Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract.
Willingness to undergo a criminal record check as part guest and staff safety in a secure atmosphere
First Aid certification is an asset
