What is this role?

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians to ensure all production equipment, utilities, and facility systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. This role is hands-on and heavily focused on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and driving continuous improvement to support our high-growth manufacturing operations. The Maintenance Supervisor plays a key role in minimizing downtime, ensuring product quality, and creating a safe and collaborative work environment. The Maintenance Supervisor also works closely with the plant based engineering team, contributing to any new projects and bringing up recurring issues experienced on the floor.

What does an average day look like?

Driving Results:

• Consistently achieves maintenance and uptime targets by prioritizing critical tasks and maintaining focus on operational goals.

• Proactively identifies and implements improvements that enhance equipment performance and reduce downtime.

• Leveraging internal MES and CMMS issues to track work and identify opportunities for improvement

Taking Ownership:

• Leads by example - holding themselves and the team accountable for maintaining high standards of work quality, safety, and reliability.

• Takes pride in keeping equipment running efficiently and the facility operating at its best.

Making Decisions:

• Uses sound judgment when troubleshooting and allocating resources.

• Balances short-term fixes with long-term preventive solutions to support sustained operational excellence.

Cultivating Relationships:

• Builds strong partnerships with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure seamless operations.

• Promotes open communication and teamwork within the entire technical team in the plant.

Instilling Trust:

• Models integrity, consistency, and reliability in all actions.

• Creates a positive work environment where team members feel supported and empowered to perform at their best.

Customer Focus:

• Understands that equipment reliability directly impacts product quality and customer satisfaction.

• Works to ensure every Cirkul product meets the highest standards through safe and dependable operations.

What background should you have?

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, food & beverage, or industrial environment

• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; experience with PLCs and automation systems a plus

• Demonstrated experience of working alongside technicians, engineers, department managers, and senior leadership when relaying information to make sure it is clearly understood.

• Solid understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance programs

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
