We’re seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead night shift operations and oversee a team of 12 to 15 engineering staff. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, high-output environment where safety, reliability, and teamwork are paramount. The position is based at a modern, fully automated facility in Denton, TX.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and direct engineering personnel
• Train new employees and demonstrate plant-specific procedures
• Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment
• Read and implement schematics and mechanical drawings
• Promote and monitor safety compliance
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Ensure compliance with company policies (EEO, Safety, etc.)
• Participate in hiring and disciplinary decisions
What We're Looking For
Required
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in industrial operations
• Associate Degree in Electronics/Electrical Technology
• Night shift availability (alternating 4/3 schedule, 12-hour shifts)
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP), preventive maintenance, and system changes
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Physical capability for plant mobility and equipment handling
• Strong communication skills in English
• Safety compliance and proper use of PPE
Preferred
 
• Experience with Allen Bradley systems and PLCs
• Boiler/refrigeration license or other applicable certifications
• Forklift license (or willingness to obtain)
• Completion of formal management training
• Experience managing a Preventive Maintenance Program
