The Maintenance Supervisor leads a team of technicians responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving industrial equipment and facility systems. This role combines hands‑on technical expertise with day‑to‑day leadership to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations across the plant.
Responsibilities :
• Lead and develop maintenance technicians through coaching, training, performance feedback, and daily direction.
• Plan, prioritize, and assign work orders to ensure timely completion of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and management to minimize downtime and support operational goals.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to reliability, efficiency, and safety.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, parts usage, and equipment history.
• Oversee spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for repairs, supplies, and contracted services.
• Support capital projects and equipment installations as needed.
Requirements :
• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or facilities environment.
• Strong industrial maintenance background, including mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment, motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and industrial automation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Solid understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Working knowledge of CMMS systems and maintenance documentation.
• Commitment to a safety-first culture.
