The Role
As a maintenance engineer, you will be an integral member of the repairs and planned preventative maintenance service, working directly with the Essex team who are based in Colchester, ensuring repairs are carried out effectively and efficiently. The locations being covered by this role would include Rainham/ Romford/ Thurrock/ Southend/ Wickford/ Brentwood.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Taking instructions from the maintenance department regarding the daily schedule of jobs

• Attending units to carry out proactive and reactive maintenance repairs

• Completing jobs in accordance with service level agreements

• Registering job progress reports and completing job reports

• Accurate collation of data for each job (photos/ videos)

• Ensure planned maintenance and breakdown activities are monitored and any delays logged and escalated to the maintenance service team

• Prioritise work scheduled

• Ensure material and supply stock levels are maintained at all times within your vehicle

• Ensure that the highest levels of customer service are fully implemented to achieve customer satisfaction guaranteeing complaints are handled with empathy and professionalism

• Any other relevant duties as requested by other departments

• Updating information on PDA system

• To comply with Stef & Philips policies and to carry out any duties that may reasonably be required
