Maintenance Mechanic $26 -$30 an hour

Parallel Employment Group has partnered with a food manufacturing plant in Cheektowaga NY to find a maintenance Technician. In this role, you will have the opportunity to not only do preventative maintenance, but also to repair and troubleshoot issues.

Pay Rate: $26-$30 depending on experience

Hours: Monday - Friday 2:30PM to 10:30 PM

Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on bakery production equipment, including mixers, ovens, proofers, conveyors, packaging equipment, and refrigeration units.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control issues, minimizing downtime to maintain production schedules. Ensure that all equipment is operating within the set safety and efficiency parameters.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all OSHA regulations and food safety guidelines, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP.

Conduct routine inspections to ensure that safety devices and emergency stop functions are operational.

Requirements:
Qualified individual will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of all equipment and systems in a bakery manufacturing plant. This role ensures optimal performance and safety of machinery, minimizing downtime, and supporting production by maintaining high-quality standards. Key responsibilities include mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, adhering to food safety and sanitation requirements, and working as part of a team to enhance overall plant efficiency.
