Maintenance Manager

We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Manager to join our team in Union City, CA. In this role, you’ll lead a small team of technicians, keep our production equipment running smoothly, and make sure everything is up to standard when it comes to food safety and workplace safety. You’ll play a key role in reducing downtime, improving equipment performance, and supporting our site’s day-to-day operations and improvement projects. Manage all aspects of the maintenance of production equipment, technical and maintenance-related systems, buildings and grounds for the facility
We are requiring someone to work onsite at our Plant located in Union City, CA

Responsibilities :
• Plan and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and limit production downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and boost reliability.
• Lead and support a team of maintenance technicians.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with food safety (HACCP, GMP) and safety regulations.
• Manage maintenance budgets and coordinate external contractors.
• Identify and implement process and equipment improvements.
• Contribute to new installations, upgrades, and automation projects.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams.
• Manage and submit all environmental State & Federal Regulatory Reports.
• Other related tasks, as required.

Qualifications :
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, food is a plus
• Solid experience leading a small team, great people leadership skills
• Strong know-how in preventive maintenance and scheduling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• A collaborative, open, and straightforward communication style.
