Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Contract Renewal Specialist to join our Direct maintenance renewals team. This role is responsible for driving on-time renewals, maintaining revenue continuity, and ensuring customers receive accurate, timely maintenance quotes for assigned regions and accounts. They will partner closely with Sales, Customers, other stakeholders and occasionally Partners to validate installed base details, resolve entitlement discrepancies, and ensure smooth execution of renewal opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
Track and manage contract expirations for maintenance renewals for assigned sales regions and customers.
Validate installed base and service entitlements using internal tools
Calculate maintenance fees using Installed Base Value, contractual agreements, previous approvals, and historical pricing data.
Generate and provide timely and accurate maintenance renewal quotes to customers.
Recommend contract optimizations (e.g., co-termination, consolidation)
Collaborate with account teams to address customer questions and concerns.
Identify at‑risk renewals and proactively engage sales, management and customers as required to mitigate
Manage renewal pipeline and provide inputs needed to accurately forecast renewal revenue
Ensure data accuracy in CRM and CPQ systems
Partner with Finance, Order Management, Operations to resolve order or billing discrepancies
Work with customers, sales, and management to adjust scope and pricing as required
Work closely with sales and customers to ensure timely renewal orders.
Maintain detailed records of renewal activities, customer interactions and renewal status
Support process improvements for quoting, pricing, and effectiveness
Strive to meet and exceed targets for defined performance metrics & renewal KPI’s
Skills and Capabilities:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex pricing models.
Experience with SaaS, software licensing, or hardware support models
Understanding of service entitlements, SLAs, and maintenance/support models
Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
Experience with AI, process improvement, automation a plus
Ability to interpret contracts, quotes, and purchase orders
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with partners and internal teams.
Relationship‑building skills with cross-functional teams.
Ability to balance precision with efficiency under time pressure.
Proficiency in using SFDC, CPQ and SFDC reporting
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple renewals simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive problem-solving and escalation management
Experience in the telecommunications equipment, technology, and / or software industry is preferred.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Communications or a related field.
2 to 4 years of experience in account management, sales, renewals, customer success or a related role
Experience working with CRM and CPQ tools
Strong Excel skills
Experience with support/maintenance models in telecom, networking, or technology.
Proven track record achieving targets.
