Position Responsibilities

Precision Excavation: Excavate line and grade for mainline waterline, sewer, storm drain, and water pipe according to project plans.

Utility Safety: Masterfully excavate around existing utilities with high precision.

Technical Implementation: Understand and execute trench depth, grade compaction, pothole procedures, and pipeline installation.

Safety Leadership: Act as the OSHA Certified Competent Person for trenching and shoring; implement rigging and shoring practices to ensure a safe environment for all.

Equipment Care: Maintain thorough knowledge of equipment maintenance to ensure fleet reliability.

Project Oversight: Read plans accurately and keep the crew organized and on task to meet goals and deadlines.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Proven track record in mainline excavation and pipe utilities.

Certification: OSHA Certified Competent Person for trenching and shoring.

Attitude: A positive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to follow supervisor directions.

Communication: Effective communication skills with co-workers and supervisors.

Compliance: Must pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing (Drug-Free Workplace).
