Responsibilities

• Craft and enhance mainframe applications using programming languages including COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Analyze and resolve bugs and performance issues in existing systems.

• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
• Create comprehensive documentation for all applications and processes.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8+ years experience in mainframe development, particularly with COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot software issues effectively.
• Experience in working with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
• Proficient with mainframe tools and technologies.
