Plastics Machine Operator – 2nd Shift
Location: Sterling Heights, MI 48314
Area: 18 1/2 Mile Road near Van Dyke
Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Training Schedule: Must be available to train on Day Shift for the first week, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
We are currently seeking dependable and hardworking Plastics Machine Operators for a manufacturing facility in Sterling Heights, MI. This is a 2nd shift opportunity, and candidates must be willing to complete training on 1st shift during their first week before transitioning to afternoons.
Job Responsibilities:
• Operate plastic molding or production machines safely and efficiently
• Monitor machines during production runs
• Inspect parts for quality and identify defects
• Trim, assemble, sort, or package plastic parts as needed
• Follow production instructions and company quality standards
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Report machine issues, defective parts, or safety concerns to supervisor
• Support production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Requirements:
Requirements:
• Previous machine operator, production, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Plastics manufacturing experience is a plus
• Candidate must be available to undergo training during the day shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) for the initial week.
• Candidate must be able to commit to working the second shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) on a long-term basis.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive work
• Must have reliable transportation
• Good attendance and dependability are required
• Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
