The Impact You’ll Make

The Machine Learning Labeling Project Coordinator owns the execution-level alignment between Machine Learning and Data Labeling. This role ensures that labeled datasets delivered to ML teams are ML-ready in terms of quality, consistency, ontology alignment, and scalability. The role operates at the intersection of ML requirements and labeling execution, translating ML needs into actionable, high-quality labeling work.
This is not a generic project manager role. Success is defined by data readiness and quality, not by task completion alone.

What You’ll Own & Drive

Translate ML requirements into executable and scalable labeling tasks

•
Partner with ML stakeholders to define, iterate, and maintain labeling ontologies and guidelines

•
Ensure labeled datasets meet ML readiness standards for training, evaluation, and experimentation

•
Coordinate labeling capacity and sequencing to support ML roadmaps

•
Build and manage domain-specific labeling squads for ML use cases

•
Identify data quality risks and misalignment early and drive resolution

•
Act as the labeling domain representative in ML-facing discussions

Your Background

• Experience working in data operations, ML-adjacent programs, or labeling environments

• Strong ability to reason about data quality, schemas, and labeling definitions

• Comfortable working with ML or data science teams in technical contexts

• Strong communication skills and ability to challenge requirements constructively

• Experience coordinating complex, time-sensitive projects
