TEAM
Enterprise AI provides a seamless end-to-end machine learning tooling experience, catering to and expediting the development of machine learning projects, such as autonomous driving, smart city, and others.

As part of Enterprise AI, the AI Solutions team provides hands-on support to customers of the Toyota Group and related companies in solving the challenges they face in developing machine learning models and using the products developed by Enterprise AI. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a strong machine learning engineer who is highly motivated in developing and employing machine learning techniques to solve complex problems for different customers, including both internal Woven teams and Toyota-related companies. In this role, you will be working with other machine learning engineers from your team as well as collaborating with other Enterprise AI product development members and stakeholders and apply your knowledge and skills to both grow as engineers and solve intricate problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design and implement machine learning models for a variety of tasks, including computer vision and natural language processing
• Take ownership of different stages of the machine learning workflow, from data collection and preprocessing to model selection, training, evaluation, and deployment
• Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and contribute to the development of AI solutions
• Maintain clear and organized documentation of methodologies, experiments, and results to support transparency and reproducibility
• Provide input on technical decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenging AI problems
• Stay up to date with emerging machine learning techniques and tools, and apply them to improve existing solutions and processes

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years of experience with software development in Python
• 2+ years of experience in machine learning development, from data processing to model implementation, training, evaluation, optimization, and deployment
• Experience with deep learning
• Experience with computer vision and/or large language models (LLMs)
• Business level proficiency in English

NICE TO HAVES:
• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Experience with ML workflows and tools, including unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, model tracking, and artifact management
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP and Azure
• Experience in model deployment on edge devices
• Business level proficiency in Japanese
