Lunch / Recess Aide
Reports To: Lunch / Recess Supervisor
Primary Function: Maintain an orderly, safe atmosphere during lunch times, on the athletic field, and playground.
Days/Hours: 2-4 days per week, hours range 10am-2pm
Start Date: April 2026 or July 29, 2026 (negotiable)
Anticipated Pay: $17.00

Educational Level: High school graduate or equivalent

Experience: N/A
Physical Activities: General physical demands such as sitting, walking, outdoor supervision
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Successfully complete required criminal history background check, demonstrate the ability to work successfully with children, and possess the physical ability to perform assigned duties.

Essential Duties
As a lunchroom aide, supervise the students in the lunchroom, clean the tables and floors in between lunches, and assist students if they need help or resolve any minor problems that may arise. The hours for this position are 10:15 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.
As a recess aide, supervise the students on the field and playground, set up and clean up equipment, and encourage positive and safe play. The hours for this position are 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Anticipated Salary and Benefits
The anticipated starting pay rate for this position is $17.00.
