LTL Operations Representative

At this point, Zelh is looking for LTL Operations Representative for one of our clients.

The Operations Team is responsible for coordinating freight across all modes of transportation as well asprovide superior customer service. This position requires excellent written and verbal communicationskills and attention to detail. They will be supporting respective stakeholders with all operations relatedfunctions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and effectively dispatch, track, and trace all shipments.

• Immediately communicate delays in pickup, transit, or delivery to respective stakeholders.

• Follow customer standard operating procedures during the booking and dispatching process.

• Coordinate movement of goods from shipper to destination within parameters required by customer.

• Source properly vetted and permitted carriers to haul shipment pursuant to requirements.

• Negotiate with carriers to secure proper payout based on shipment requirements.

• Confirm carriers are legally permitted to transport freight, commodity, weight, and dimensions.

• Work with other team members and employees to make sure all requirements are understood prior to

• shipment being arranged.

• Make decisions based on best course of action and circumstances on a shipment-by-shipment basis
