Overview
Princing's Pharmacy is seeking a clinically driven and collaborative Long-Term Care (LTC) Consultant Pharmacist to support facilities across the Saginaw region. This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, effective medication therapy for long-term care residents while serving as a key liaison between pharmacy operations and facility care teams.

What You’ll Do
Provide clinical pharmacy services including medication regimen reviews and therapy optimization for LTC residents
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff to ensure safe and effective treatment plans
Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and LTC pharmacy best practices
Serve as a subject matter expert for on-site pharmacy operations and medication management
Manage medication carts, inventory, and changeovers to maintain accuracy and availability
Investigate and resolve MAR discrepancies and medication issues in real time
Partner with pharmacy teams to improve workflows, refill processes, and cycle management
Utilize electronic health records (EHR) and platforms like MediProcity for documentation and communication
Train and educate facility staff on medication ordering and system processes
Act as a liaison between pharmacy and facility teams, resolving operational and clinical concerns
Qualifications
PharmD from an accredited program (required)
Active Pharmacist license and Controlled Substance license through the state of Michigan
Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred
Experience in geriatric pharmacotherapy strongly preferred
Strong understanding of pharmacy regulations and compliance standards
Proficiency with pharmacy systems (Framework experience a plus)
