About the Fundamental Equities Support Internship

This 12-week summer internship will provide you a valuable experience at a complex global firm. During your time with us, you will gain exposure to: 

• Conducting research on AI applications regionally, assessing their visibility as well as identifying key advantages and potential drawbacks

• Automating processes using internal tools, and integrate research outputs generated by various teams on a daily and weekly basis

• Identifying opportunities for streamlining processes and enhancing team workflows

• Projects related to business strategy, exploring regional and sector-level market opportunities, and supporting strategic decision-making

Summer Internship Program at Point72

In addition to the learning and development you’ll receive in your day-to-day role with your team, as a part of our summer internship program you will: 

• Work alongside your fellow interns and be mentored by experienced professionals

• Meet your peers through designated intern programming, volunteer opportunities, and social events

• Attend sessions with senior leaders discussing their expertise and career paths

• Get hands-on access to the wealth of tools and resources that Point72 employees use everyday

• Interact with groups and functions with unique responsibilities and perspectives on our industry

What's required

• Expected graduation from June 2026 to August 2027

• Demonstrated academic success as reflected in a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Strong research, analytical, writing, verbal communication, and technical skills

• Professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese and the ability to read Chinese language materials

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, with the ability to apply it to research and process automation

• Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the team

• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity at all times

• Commitment to the highest ethical standards
