Long Distance Transporter Dispatcher (m/f/d)

Your mission:
• Plan, organize, and coordinate national and international long-distance road freight operations within the EU.
• Schedule vehicles, drivers, and routes to ensure optimal utilization and on-time delivery.
• Manage daily dispatch activities in line with customer requirements and operational priorities.
• Oversee and monitor the execution of transport orders in real time.
• Proactively identify and resolve delays, route changes, or operational disruptions.
• Ensure continuous visibility and clear communication throughout the transport process.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, drivers, and logistics partners.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors and service providers.
• Ensure adherence to all legal, safety, and company regulations (e.g., driving/rest times, load securing).
• Prepare, verify, and maintain accurate transport documentation and performance reports.
• Support administrative processes such as rate management and subcontractor assignments.
• Analyze operational data to identify optimization and cost-saving opportunities.
• Contribute to process improvements and departmental goals related to service quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Your profile:
• Completed vocational training in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a dispatcher, ideally in international long-distance transport.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency with transport management systems (TMS) and MS Office applications.
• Ability to work well under pressure and make sound, fast decisions.
• Very good command of English (additional languages are a plus).
• High level of responsibility and reliability, with an analytical and solution-oriented approach.
• Team-oriented personality with assertiveness and customer focus.
