Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Logistics / Yard Labourer to support daily yard and logistics operations. This role involves a combination of indoor and outdoor work in all weather conditions and requires the ability to safely operate a diesel truck towing a 40’ gooseneck trailer. The successful candidate will be hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable performing general labour duties as required.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a diesel truck towing a 40’ gooseneck trailer
Load, unload, secure, and transport materials and equipment
Perform shipping, receiving, and handling of materials
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts
Organize and maintain yard, warehouse, and storage areas
Conduct general labour duties as required to support operations
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and company standards
Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Qualifications & Requirements
Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate a diesel truck and tow a 40’ gooseneck trailer
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working in all weather conditions
Strong attention to safety and detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills considered an asset
Previous experience in logistics, yard work, or general labour is an asset
