Logistics Specialist

As a Logistics Specialist at Vinmar International, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing the movement of materials throughout the supply chain to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery to our customers. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including suppliers, warehouses, forwarders, and internal teams, to enhance supply chain performance and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ocean Export expertise from planning, booking, documentation, and post-shipment.
• Build relationships with 3rd-party logistics vendors to ensure a high level of service.
• Provide prompt, professional communication with both internal and external customers, providing a high level of Customer Service to both.
• Respond to incoming communications from internal and external customers and, where necessary, resolve and escalate issues as needed.
• Identify, recommend, and implement changes that solve problems and improve efficiency and customer service.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

• Minimum 8 years of Ocean Export experience in Latin American countries, preferably in plastics or chemical distribution.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work cohesively within a team and manage cross-functional relationships.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
