Position: Logistics Specialist Reports to: Logistics Manager
We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our Logistics team! Our Logistics Specialist will manage all aspects of shipping routes and delivery as well as effectively manage and resolve customer concerns.

Experience
• You have at least 3-5 years of work experience in transportation, logistics and/or relevant background
Nice-to-Have
• Experience working in a food manufacturing facility
• Familiarity with cross border truck freight
things you will do…
• Coordinate all logistics and transportation needs in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment
• Process and track all shipments, ensure all required documentation is completed in a timely manner, and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Create weekly load plans for LTL/FTL shipments
• Establish relationships with transportation companies and recommend ways to reduce costs
• Ensure timely and consistent follow up with internal and external stakeholders
• Resolve problems concerning transportation, customer issues, imports/exports, late orders and more
• Review and approve all costs relating to shipments
• Other duties as assigned

Salary - $62,100 - $75,200
