Job Description
• Plan warehouses and distribution centers for efficiency in both operations and capacity.
• Organize transportation activities, including storage of goods, managing information accrued from point of origin to delivery, orchestrating transportation movements, and arranging for services as necessary.
• Coordinate and track movement of goods through logistic pathways.
• Execute logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule.
• Maintains quality throughout the logistic processes.
• Handle all logistics activities of export and import materials, spare parts and gold shipments.
• Search and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers.
• Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases.
• Create and maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate appropriate contracts for pricing and supply.
• Examine and review products and supplies to ensure quality.
• Track incoming inventory, delivery arrival time, and note actual arrival time.
• Organize and update database of suppliers, delivery times, invoices, and evaluation of suppliers.
• Ensure all deliveries contain all goods requested.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree of Business Administration, logistics or any relevant field.
• Strong understanding of Logistics systems and countries regulations
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Works well with deadlines,
• Knowledge of logistics systems,
• Understanding of transportation limitations and regulations
• Previous experience in Manufacturing or Construction is a must.
• Previous experience in import and export companies is a plus.
