Role Objective

To own day-to-day domestic logistics operations, ensure timely pickups and deliveries, manage vendor service invoice processing, and support export & import execution while maintaining strong SLA adherence, cost control, and accurate logistics reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Domestic Logistics

• Own end-to-end domestic transportation operations:

• Supplier → Warehouse

• Warehouse → Freight forwarder - Export gateway / customer

• Plan and execute:

• Daily pickups and dispatch schedules

• Route and vehicle allocation with transporters

• Coordinate with:

• Domestic transporters, couriers, 3PL partners

• Track:

• On-time pickup & delivery performance

• Transit delays and exceptions

• Act as first-level escalation for domestic shipment issues

Export & Import Operations

• Support execution of:

• Export shipments (courier / air)

• Imports, returns, re-exports

• Prepare and validate:

• Commercial invoices

• Packing lists

• Shipping instructions

• Other Export related documents

• Coordinate with:

• CHAs, freight forwarders, couriers

• Track shipment milestones and escalate delays to Head – Logistics

Vendor Service Invoice Processing (KEY RESPONSIBILITY)

• Own end-to-end logistics vendor invoice processing:

• Domestic transporters

• Couriers

• Freight forwarders

• Validate invoices against:

• Approved rate cards

• RFQ contracts

• Actual service delivery

• Identify and resolve:

• Overbilling

• Duplicate billing

• Incorrect accessorial charges

• Coordinate with Finance for:

• GRN / service entry

• Timely payment processing

• Maintain invoice aging trackers

SLA, Analytics & Reporting

• Maintain daily / weekly trackers for:

• Domestic shipment volumes

• On-time pickup & delivery %

• Shipment aging

• Invoice processing status

• Support:

• Monthly logistics MIS

• MBR / QBR data preparation

• Highlight trends:

• Cost overruns

• Repeated service failures

• Vendor performance gaps

KPIs
Domestic Logistics

• On-time pickup

• On-time delivery

• Domestic shipment aging

Export & Import Support

• Shipment execution accuracy

• Exception closure TAT

Invoice Processing

• Invoice first-pass accuracy

• Invoice processing TAT

• Billing discrepancy rate

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong domestic logistics execution experience

• Working knowledge of export & import processes

• Experience in logistics vendor invoice validation

• Strong Excel & Presentation skills (mandatory)

• High attention to detail and follow-up

• Ability to coordinate with Finance and vendors

Objective

To execute daily warehouse operations including inbound, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch while ensuring inventory accuracy, ERP discipline, QC clearance coordination, safety compliance, and timely shipment readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations Execution

• Support inbound receiving and putaway

• Execute picking, packing, labeling, and dispatch coordination

• Ensure export packing standards and QC checks

• Maintain bin location accuracy

ERP / WMS & Inventory Control

• Perform ERP/WMS entries for inbound and outbound movements

• Support cycle counts and stock reconciliation

• Highlight inventory discrepancies proactively

QC Coordination for On-Time Shipments

• Coordinate with QC team to ensure:

• Timely inspection of picked material

• Clearance of shipments as per dispatch cut-offs

• Track QC pending status and escalate delays

• Ensure QC-approved material is released for packing and dispatch

Registers & Compliance

• Maintain operational registers:

• Inbound

• Storage

• Outbound

• Damage

• Support audit documentation

Safety & Floor Discipline

• Follow safety SOPs and housekeeping standards

• Support PIT handling under supervision

• Ensure clean and organized warehouse floor

Reporting & Communication

• Maintain daily warehouse trackers

• Communicate dispatch readiness, QC status, and risks to the Logistics

• Report operational issues proactively

KPIs

• Picking accuracy %

• Inventory variance %

• Order processing TAT

• Damage rate

• ERP data accuracy

• QC clearance adherence to dispatch timelines

Required Skills

• Hands-on FG warehouse operations experience

• ERP/WMS familiarity

• Basic Excel skills

• Attention to detail

• Clear shop-floor communication

• Ability to coordinate cross-functionally with QC and Logistics
