Job Description
We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our team and ensure seamless, cost‑effective and compliant flow of goods across our supply chain network. If you are detail‑oriented, proactive and passionate about operational excellence, this role is for you!
Responsibilities / Tasks
• Plan and coordinate shipping & delivery activities between contract manufacturers, packaging sites, and customers
• Identify and implement cost‑effective transportation solutions for inbound & outbound flows
• Monitor order fulfilment to ensure on‑time and accurate deliveries
• Ensure the correct usage of transportation criticality codes
• Perform regular evaluation and improvement of transportation arrangements
• Prepare and manage export documentation, collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners
• Oversee general administration: filing, handling queries, claims, and verifying logistics costs in alignment with Sales, Projects & Service departments
• Ensure compliance with GEA Export Control guidelines
Your Profile / Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a logistics role within an international environment
• Experience in contract management
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
• Proven experience in logistics coordination or transport management
• Experience in customer service will be considered a plus
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ISO requirements
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple processes
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability for successes and mistakes
• Computer‑savvy, with hands‑on experience using ERP or logistics software
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Comfortable working in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders
