The logistic Officer is responsible for the efficient coordination and management of all logistics activities within the office(s), in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Ensures that all procurement complies with company's standard Purchasing and logistics procedures and donor requirements.
Identify sources for supplies and services;send out requests for quotations and supplies and provide full analysis of comparative prices;follow tender procedures as applicable;complete all required procurement documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Conduct regular market surveys on prices;maintain a database of supplies/vendors.
Prepare and maintain a bi-weekly Order tracking Report of all outstanding purchases.
Provide quality assurance on supplies to ensure that the company is getting a value for money in all its purchases/services.
Degree.
3-5 years experience in related field
Good communication skills
Ability to work with less supervision.
