JP Logistics & Consulting LLC (JPLC) is looking for a full-time Logistics & Facilities Support Liaison to support the Walter Reed Army Medical Center satellite location at Dalecarlia.
Location / Place of performance: Dalecarlia, Bethesda, MD
Start Date: TBD
Salary: TBD
Hours of Operation: 06:00- 3:00 M-F except holidays.
Specific Duties:
Manages the maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, and machine and electrical servicing for the organization's facilities.
Monitors equipment and ensures efficiency and effectiveness.
Plans and schedules all maintenance activities for facilities.
Provide reports to the COR.
Supervises a group of primarily Para-professional vendors.
Thorough knowledge of department processes.
Perform non-personal services in Facilities Liaison Support Services and supply in an effective, reliable, and efficient manner to support the National Capital Region (NCR-MD), not limited to the following:
Serves as a Liaison to the NSA Bethesda Facilities Division.
Provide support services to the Integrated Referral Management and Appointing Center (IRMAC).
Provide daily and weekly updates to the Director of Operations concerning Facility issues supporting the NCR-MD Activities.
Monitor receipt and accuracy of incoming equipment.
Review incoming e-mails for timely responses and action assignments.
Prepare, manage, and maintain property management records in a reliable and effective manner.
Interface with all IRMAC Leadership to ensure equipment and materials are sufficient to accomplish their mission.
Receive, review and evaluate requests for supplies, materials, equipment, and services.
Ensure all procurements must be approved by an Authorized Government Representative.
Ensure the IRMAC property inventory is complete, accurate, and performed.
Review maintenance records and visually inspect items to determine either disposal or repair actions to be completed.
Ensure proper accountability and prepare documentation (DD1348 and DD149s) for excess equipment and materials that are maintained.
Coordinate and replenishment of supplies for faxes, copiers, and printers.
Maintain files for documents supporting the purchase and maintenance history of equipment purchases, and perform life cycle management analysis for future replacement.
Coordinate the annual inventory of government-owned equipment within IRMAC/DHA.
Collect and consolidate data, compare information against current inventory information, and annotate changes and discrepancies.
Utilize the Government Vehicle and equipment IAW with regulations and local policies.
Provide support to the IT staff to ensure the IRMAC's new staff hires workspaces, phones, and IT systems are prepared prior to their first day.
Education & Experience:
Requires an associate’s degree or equivalent.
Typically requires 3-5 years’ experience in the related area as an individual contributor
