Logistics Assembly Runner (Temp contract)

At our plant in Glenrothes, Scotland we design, develop and produce radial piston motors working in partnership with world renowned international OEM’s in industries such as material handling, construction and forestry machinery

• Ensure that all manufactured parts are provided to assembly process clean
• Frequently exchanging empty containers for full, pre-loaded containers at each workstation
• Collecting empty packaging or reusable containers during the same run
• Handling Kanban cards to trigger replenishment and verifying part numbers and quantities at each stop.
• Accurately and efficiently follow work instructions
• Use of a pedestrian stacker (training will be provided)
• Working in order of priority for supply to the assembly process
• Play a key part in supporting the shop floor and production operations

• Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial
• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Experience in using factory aids such as pallet trucks pedestrian stackers, etc
• Good attention to detail
• Time keeping skills, with ability to prioritise work as and when needed
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
