Locum Occupational Therapist – Darwin, NT

Private Practice | Children & Adults | Short-Term Contract

We are currently working with a well-established private practice in Darwin that is seeking an experienced Locum Occupational Therapist to provide short-term cover.

This is a great opportunity for an OT who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working across both paediatric and adult caseloads, while experiencing life in Australia’s Top End.

About the Role

• Locum Occupational Therapist role in a private practice setting
• Mixed caseload across children and adults
• Work across clinic-based and community appointments
• Supportive multidisciplinary team and structured handover
• Flexible contract length (typically min 2-3 months)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Paediatric assessments and therapy (developmental delay, sensory processing, functional skills)
• Adult OT services including functional assessments and rehabilitation
• Report writing and client goal planning
• Liaising with families, carers, and other health professionals

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Occupational Therapist
• AHPRA registration (or in progress)
• Experience working with paediatric and adult clients
• Strong communication and time-management skills
• Locum or contract experience preferred but not essential
