Hourly Rate: £25–£28 per hour
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician to join a pharmacy team in South London. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of clinical trials within a leading NHS Trust, supporting innovative research and patient care.
The successful candidate will work closely with pharmacists and clinical teams to ensure the safe and efficient management of investigational medicinal products (IMPs) and compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the dispensing, storage, and accountability of IMPs in line with trial protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with GCP and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with clinical trial teams and sponsors to coordinate pharmacy activities.
• Assist in audits and monitoring visits related to clinical trials.
• Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Previous experience in clinical trials or hospital pharmacy setting.
• Strong understanding of GCP and clinical trial regulations.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
