Local Language Specialist Intern

About the Role

We’re looking for a Local Language Specialist Intern to support our team. In this role, you’ll help digitalize printed Bahasa Indonesia transcripts, validate language accuracy, and assist with various content tasks when needed. You’ll work closely with the team, and may occasionally be required to visit the Gojek Head Office for coordination.

What You Will Do:
• Convert printed Bahasa Indonesia transcripts into a digital format with high accuracy.
• Validate and ensure correctness in Bahasa Indonesia language usage.
• Assist in various content-related tasks within the Corporate Affairs team.
• Coordinate with regional teams and be available for on-site work at the Gojek Head Office when necessary.
• Participate in simple voice-collection tasks involving Bahasa Indonesia phrases, as required for internal initiatives.

What You Will Need:
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Sastra Indonesia or Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in Python programming and basic data processing skills.
• Attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining high data quality standards.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and contribute to team discussions.
• Paid Internship and Laptop provided.

You’ll be part of the GoTo Data Science team, a group focused on building machine learning solutions that keep GoTo’s digital payment ecosystem safe and reliable.
