Local CDL Route Delivery Drivers Needed

We are a service oriented food distribution company located in South Philadelphia that specializes in childcare nutrition. We care about our clients, the communities we serve, and most importantly, our staff. As a route driver for our company, you will be eligible to join the Union and take advantage of the company paid benefits including fully funded pension plan that you are vested in after 5 years of service.

Our driving and warehouse staff are invited to participate in our Company events including awards meetings, Holiday surf and turf dinners, staff appreciation events, farm volunteer opportunities, raffles, contests, giveaways, and more.

Who are we looking for?

Someone with good Communication Skills:

We are looking for someone with good interpersonal communication skills who can smile, be nice, and help out with any issues during delivery.

Someone with Experience:

Our delivery drivers must have a high school diploma or GED, a current CDL license, and at least 2 years’ accident-free driving record. Preference is given to candidates with route delivery and food distribution delivery experience.

Someone who can meet the Physical requirements of the job:

Our delivery drivers must be able to perform tasks that require considerable use of arms, legs, and torso such as driving, climbing, lifting, reaching, bending, stooping, balancing, and walking. They must have the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 lbs repetitively throughout the shift and must be able to frequently move up to 200-lbs with a two-wheel hand truck up and down ramps and in and out of client locations.

What would you be doing?

Delivering various temperature-controlled products on scheduled routes and verifying the delivery of items with clients through a 3-point check system

Hours and schedule

Novick deliveries are performed Monday – Friday and we offer a 4-day work week to all new driers. Imagine 52 extra days off year!
