PRODUCT TECHNOLOGY STACK

• Languages – ABAP, ABAP OO, ABAP RAP
• Platform – CDS/HANA, BTP, Kubernetes
• UI – HTML 5, SAP UI5 & FIORI, OData
• Storage & Databases – SAP HANA

Requirements:
You must have

• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge (5+ years) of development in ABAP
• Experience in SAP application development
• Experience on SAP CDS and SAP Hana
• Exposure to debugging, troubleshooting with knowledge in specific areas such as performance tuning
• Experience with agile practices in software development

Great if you have

• Knowledge of services provided by standard SAP FS-CML/FS-CMS.
• Understanding of the Integration with various SAP S4I modules like FS-CD
• Experience in banking domain
• Exposure to ABAP OO
• Exposure to ABAP RAP and SAP cloud technologies such as BTP and Kubernetes

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As a Senior Developer you will be a team member in our cross-functional SCRUM team in Bangalore. You will be responsible for developing very high-quality software with your team.

Expectations:

• Demonstrate excellent development, quality & delivery skills in scrum teams, working in short development and release cycles.
• Work with geographically distributed teams seamlessly.
• Exhibit learning agility by quickly upskilling on new tasks and concepts.
• Follow agile software engineering methods and develop software including coding, testing, quality assurance, and documentation.

Tasks:

• Your tasks depend on the current backlog in each sprint and comprise the following activities:
• You will write design documents for new software features and review them with your scrum team.
• You will develop according to the reviewed design and carry out developer tests.
• You will test the new software and correct it during the internal test phase (functional integration test)
• You will correct issues in the software during customer tests (solution acceptance test)
• You will analyse and solve (complex) issues in existing and new code.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering or comparable qualification
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• An excellent understanding of data structures & algorithms
• Understand the concepts of functional and object-oriented paradigms
