Schedule and Salary:

• Night shift: Monday to Thursday, 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM

• Starting wage: $25.44/hour – increase to $26.07/hour after 3 months

• Night shift premium: $2.00/hour

Responsibilities:

The Loader Operator is responsible for the continuous supply of raw materials required for production, while ensuring safe and efficient management of aggregates on site.

Specifically, the role includes:

• Supplying production lines with aggregates based on operational needs

• Feeding silos and storage areas using heavy equipment

• Loading trucks with defective products (scrap) for disposal or recycling

• Transporting sand to the heated plate during the winter period

• Performing snow removal operations during winter to maintain safe working conditions

• Receiving aggregate trucks, directing them to the appropriate unloading areas, and ensuring smooth operations

• Verifying the conformity of received aggregates and moving them to designated storage areas

• Complying with health and safety procedures as well as company quality standards

• Conducting visual inspections of equipment and reporting any anomalies or maintenance needs

Job Requirements

• Recognized training in heavy equipment operation (loader) with a valid competency card

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a loader operator

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and apply common sense

• Strong focus on safety and professionalism

Work Environment 🦺

• Industrial setting with exposure to moving machinery, vibrations, and loud noise

Physical Requirements 💪

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 22 kg (50 lbs)

• Ability to stand, reach, climb, and maintain balance for extended periods

• Ability to perform physical tasks in an active work environment

This is a physically demanding position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg). Manual dexterity, teamwork, hand-eye co-ordination and a combination of sitting, standing and walking required.
