The Transport Coordinator supports day-to-day transport operations within the 4PL Supply Chain network, working closely with customers, carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure reliable, efficient, and fully integrated logistics solutions. Proven experience in Ocean Freight is required, within a multimodal logistics environment.

Overall Role Purpose

Act as the operational interface between DHL, customers, carriers, and suppliers, ensuring the efficient execution of transport flows within the 4PL network. The role focuses on coordinating daily operations, monitoring shipments, resolving operational exceptions, and maintaining service performance and data accuracy in line with customer requirements..

Key Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day transport planning and execution control.

Monitor shipments and manage exceptions across inbound, outbound, and empty container flows.

Act as the first point of contact for transport-related enquiries from supply chain partners.

Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver integrated transportation solutions.

Support Freight Bill Audit (FBA) activities and related operational processes.

Ensure compliance with operational standards, processes, and data quality requirements.

Requirements for the Job

Mandatory requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in a transport and logistics environment.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under time pressure and manage daily operational tasks.

Proactive, self-sufficient, and team-oriented mindset.

Fluent Spanish and English (verbal and written).

Valuable experience

Experience with Transport Management and/or Order Management systems.

Hands-on experience in Ocean Freight transportation operations.

Basic understanding of regulatory and customs principles.

Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) knowledge is an advantage.

Education in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (Bachelor’s degree or Master’s) is a plus.
