Live Broadcast Operator Intern (World of Tanks)

Location: Prague, Czech Republic

Duration: 6 months; starting in March

Format: On-Site

Terms: Paid internship; 20 hours per week, including occasional weekend work for supporting events

Eligibility: Candidates should be eligible to work in the Czech Republic (EU nationals and individuals holding a valid work/study visa).

Job Overview

Wargaming Prague is seeking a Broadcast Operator Intern to support the execution of our live streams and video content, particularly focused on e-sports & gaming on our dedicated Twitch and YouTube channels.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Live Content Manager and other team members, taking part in key initiatives to create original and engaging content on a weekly basis.

What will you learn?

Collaborate and work alongside other members of the player engagement team providing you with mentorship and insights.

Acquire essential skills by actively participating in highly produced live streams suitable, but not limited to, e-sports, engagement, gaming, and events.

Learn from specialists to quickly troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during live broadcasts.

Stay informed about the latest advancements in live streaming technology and be part of our continuous production efforts of improvement.

What will you do?

Support special events and regular content in our YouTube and Twitch channels;

•
Work closely with team members and external talent ensuring content aligns with the objectives and deadlines.

Contribute with creative and technical ideas for continuous improvement and success.

Set up, operate, and maintain all technical equipment including cameras, audio systems, lighting, and software.

•
Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure optimal video and audio quality during live streams.

What are we looking for?

•
Knowledge of YouTube and Twitch platforms.

•
Passion for PC games, video, and technology in general.

•
Understanding of video and live streaming software such as but not limited to OBS, Adobe Creative Cloud, Vmix, etc.

•
Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative ideas and solutions.

•
Experience and ability to work with cameras, lighting and audio equipment.

•
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

•
Open to work occasionally on weekends.

•
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to group efforts and supporting colleagues.

•
English working proficiency.
