This position is 3 days per week remote / work from home.
Salary: $70,000 - 85,000/year
We are a mission-driven plaintiff litigation firm dedicated to representing survivors of sexual abuse in complex civil cases against individuals, corporations, and institutions. Our work centers on accountability, trauma-informed advocacy, and achieving meaningful justice for our clients.
We are seeking a highly organized, compassionate, and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal with experience in plaintiff-side litigation—ideally in sexual abuse, personal injury, civil rights, or complex tort matters.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct trauma-informed client intake and maintain ongoing communication
• Organize and maintain confidential case files (digital and physical)
• Manage case calendars, deadlines, and statute of limitations tracking
• Coordinate document collection and record retrieval (medical, therapy, school, employment, institutional records)
• Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and correspondence
• Assist with deposition preparation, summaries, and exhibit organization
• Manage document review and production
• Coordinate expert witnesses and prepare expert materials
• Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and courtroom materials
• Conduct factual research and background investigations
• Compile damages documentation
• Assist with chronologies and liability analyses
• Review and organize sensitive evidentiary materials
Requirements:
• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience (plaintiff-side preferred)
• Experience handling sexual abuse, personal injury, civil rights, or complex tort cases strongly preferred
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of civil procedure and discovery rules
• Proficiency in case management software and e-filing systems
• Exceptional attention to detail and deadline management
• Ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential information
• Trauma-informed approach to client communication
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
