.We are looking for a Linux Administrator for a contract role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is a long-term contract with a global IT consulting leader.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
• Expertly configure and meticulously document Linux systems
• Effortlessly manage virtual machines for cutting-edge simulation applications
• Thoroughly conduct audits of hardware and software
• Swiftly apply OS updates, patches, and configuration changes
• Masterfully troubleshoot reported problems
Skills and experience required:
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on IT experience
• Strong IT qualifications or a Tertiary Degree
• Hold a Red Hat Certified Engineer certification
• Proficient in SQL/MYSQL, MSSQL, or Oracle databases
• Knowledge of ITIL service management practices
• Extensive experience in Windows Desktop and server administration
• Possess Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) level skills
