Job Description

.We are looking for a Linux Administrator for a contract role based in California City, CA, United States. This is a long-term contract with a global IT consulting leader.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:

• Expertly configure and meticulously document Linux systems
• Efficiently manage virtual machines to facilitate powerful simulation applications
• Thoroughly conduct audits on hardware and software for optimal performance
• Proactively apply timely OS updates, patches, and configuration changes
• Diligently troubleshoot and resolve reported problems to ensure smooth operations

Skills and experience required:

• At least 5 years of extensive IT experience
• IT qualifications or a Tertiary Degree
• Hold a Red Hat Certified Engineer qualification
• Proficient in working with SQL/MYSQL, MSSQL, or Oracle databases
• Familiarity with ITIL service management practices
• Hands-on experience in Windows Desktop and server administration
• Skills at the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) level
• Mandatory: Possess a NV1 Security Clearance
