We are delighted to announce a major new contract win with Welsh Water, supporting them over the next four years and beyond, delivering proactive and reactive maintenance of their Wastewater Network.
We are currently recruiting for Lining Operative to join our team, delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career with Sapphire Utility Solutions working closely with one of our most exciting clients and contributing to their AMP8 objectives.
Location: North & Central Wales
Hours: 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm.
Salary: Up to £16.50 per hour
Responsibilities – but not limited to:
Working on the back of cutting unit assisting and learning how to use and maintain the cutting unit
Working with patching and lining teams to pick up various repair methods so they can move around the teams and eventually runs a van across all contracts (Training will be provided)
Setting up traffic management (Training will be provided)
Confined spaces entry (Training will be provided)
Risk assessments and updating work packs
The operative will be expected to be flexible picking up overtime if required and the occasional weekend
Experience and qualifications desirable required for the role:
To be flexible in their working approach as on occasion may need to work overtime such as at weekends
Ability to work in all weathers
To be able to cover long distances by foot
The desire to progress within the company
Knowledge of utilities and traffic management (not essential)
